Unlike popular belief im not a very optimistic person nor am i always happy like i appear to be online. And im not just saying this to be humble, but im a very internal person so all the things i feel are not usually expressed on my face unless i intend for it to happen. I'm not dark and brooding, but I have a very straight expression. Point being, during the day, i usually try to find a reason to smile. At least, i try to think of the things that i love or eat the food that i love or listen to the music i love in order to just be content. In order to be grateful.
And so that's what i urge all of you to do--im not asking you to be happy everyday cause that's usually not possible unless it's your personality. But you don't have to be sad either. Make it a goal to be content, to be grateful and i know that's difficult for some, so instead try to find one thing that makes you smile. And have a go to thing. Like a video, a song, an action that makes you smile without trying to. Your "happy" place so to speak. They give you a refuge to realize that it's going to be okay. Get through this and it's going to be okay.
I'll show you two things that make me feel good without failure.
[ I don't watch these two youtubers that much or am i really into their "fandoms" but im sure a lot of you know Pewdiepie and Cry or have even seen this video. But at one point Blubeeny and I got really into these gamers lol. This makes me laugh every single time and I hope it makes you at least chuckle. And the lesson learned: never ship two best friends WHO ARE REAL PEOPLE and NOT CHARACTERS IN A SHOW. ]
[ This song has always been sort of a refuge for me and always makes my heart warm. Whenever I have trouble starting something or i need a pick me upper so i can carry on, i play this song. It's really close to my heart especially since i found it on my own ^^. ]
Of course i have more that i keep on a playlist on youtube. But do just that--keep them on a private playlist or favorite them and keep going back to the things that make you feel good!
I hope you find your "happy" place or at least find a reason to smile today!
